A New Beginning for Happy Healthy Humanity
Wow. It has been quite some time since I last “blogged” here, and so much has changed.
As we prepare to reintroduce Happy Healthy Humanity to the world, I’ve been spending time preparing, clearing, and tending to the website. It has been an interesting experience, to say the least, sifting through the past and deciding what stays, what goes, and what simply needs a little editing.
In the years that have passed, Ron has continued cultivating a loyal client base through his coaching, building unique and inspiring programming, while I have been managing the homestead. My main focus has been homeschooling and raising our daughter, cultivating a happy, healthy home, and nourishing our like-minded community. I’ve also been wearing many hats to provide additional income for our lifestyle. Choosing the path we have chosen requires some sacrifice in the beginning, but eventually, those choices simply become a part of everyday living. I am incredibly grateful for the choices we have made—and continue to make—for ourselves, our family, and ultimately, future generations.
We have been called to pour our love back into Happy Healthy Humanity because the mission of supporting and inspiring others to walk this alternative path feels more important now than ever.
We are clearly at a turning point in humanity. The choice to create a brighter future lies in OUR hands. The power and the choice are ours to make, and I believe the way we live is one of the most powerful ways we can create lasting harmony and balance in the world.
It truly starts at home. And it starts with ourselves.
My own personal evolution has taken many twists and turns over the past few years. I reached a major turning point two years ago when I chose to step away from cannabis, which I had used both “medicinally” and otherwise for nearly three decades.
That shift brought me an incredible amount of motivation and mental clarity. I joined a gym and unexpectedly fell in love with strength training. The science behind building strength, increasing muscle, and nourishing the body with adequate protein has become something I am deeply passionate about. It’s an area where I continue to learn, grow, and evolve.
I’ve also been loving the seasonal practice of setting intentions with others at the solstice and equinox turning points. This practice has brought me so much clarity and has truly given me the ability to call forth what I desire to create in my life. There is something incredibly powerful about opening ourselves fully, surrendering our heart’s truest desires, and sharing them within a community that witnesses and holds those intentions alongside us throughout the season. I will continue to create space for anyone who feels called to share in and contribute to these powerful experiences.
Most recently, I felt the pull to return to the beauty industry and work behind the chair—but in a completely new way, and with a LOT more gray hairs! I’ll be using all non-toxic products and specializing in gray blending and enhancing the natural beauty of the hair. I’ll continue to serve clients of all ages while also acknowledging, embracing, and honoring the natural process of aging with grace.
I’m so excited to offer my services at Bloom Beauty on Cabot Street in Beverly and to bring this next chapter of my work together with everything else I’ve been cultivating over the years.
We have a lot lined up for the upcoming months and seasons with Happy Healthy Humanity, and we are so excited to breathe new life into this vision and continue growing it into what it was always meant to become.
Here’s to new chapters, coming home to ourselves, and creating a happy, healthy humanity—one choice, one home, and one community at a time.
